H.S. Youth Group

The High School Youth Group meets on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of each month at 6:00 PM. The teens start with a meal and fellowship time followed by in depth conversation about the word of God. During the summer months there will be special outings. They are currently following the "Believe" study.

This active, service minded, youth group who also go by Youth Caring for Youth, does more than meet twice a month.  They gather for several fundraising events throughout the year to help raise funds for mission trips.   They also meet to just have fun too!  Contact the church office for more information at 221-6474 and ask for Jonna Rossow.

H.S. youth group went to El Salvador in April, 2017.  El Salvador is a small Spanish-speaking country located on the Pacific side of CentralAmerica. About 1/3rd of the population lives in the vibrant capital city, San Salvador. We are excited to witness and be a part of the new things God is doing here. The main program is La Fuente, an after school program that seeks to reach out to middle schoolers at risk of violence at a public school in San Salvador. We plug interns in to hands-on ministry, administrative tasks, and discipleship. We partner with local churches for VBS, Church Partnership Evangelism, and more. Check out Envision Wired on Facebook!

H.S. youth group went to San Juan, Puerto Rico in July, 2015. They worked at a youth camp and helped clear out an area for a community garden.

Youth Caring for Youth returned from their Mission Trip to the Watoto Villages outside Kampala, Uganda July 30, 2013.  They worked hard and helped build the cement walkway that will enable kids to walk up or down these steep slopes without slipping in dry or wet weather in Suubi Village. For the Bira village, they helped raise the funds to build a new basketball court (before pictured below).
